How long Suggestions???
ReplyDeleteJunior=I think should go to 3:00
Primary=11:00?????
So the primary can get ready for lunch verbally.
BTC committee=24 hrs
I think it should be a choice for all students to not talk at recess or not. But they will be highly encouraged to not talk.
Thank you Leo C. for making the chart!!!! Adeline
Adeline has mentioned some really good points - most especially around the issue of choice. A right and privilege we have that is not experienced by many children around the world. Some of the time suggestions made are a good start as we need to be aware that the Primary and Junior students will most likely have different goals on how long to run their Vow of Silence. I too would like to thank Leo for putting together the mind map to ideas brainstormed during today's Committee meeting. Well done everyone! Ms. Tavares
ReplyDeleteI agree with Adeline BTC all day, Jumior till 3:00, and Primary 11:00.Samantha
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the times. I think the three main groups work really well for the vow of silence.Zoe
ReplyDeleteYou guys made some very good ideas. We should encourage everyone to go as long as they can. 11 for primary students and 3ish for junior students sounds awsome:) I think some people should start thinking about annoucments and just in general the Vow of Silence.

Great ideas, i totally agree with you adeline!Jenny
ReplyDeleteThese are really great comments going on here! I think the primary students should have at least make it through until lunch do you agree? We should also give the junior students a break during lunch time and let them talk for a while then they're back to being silent. During morning recess it could be the teachers' decision if they want them to go outside or not.
