I think it would help if we put this group into sub groups like bacteria, garbage and something else.

ReplyDeleteWater pollution mostly starts by three types of sewage. Domestic sewage which is water waste from houses. In domestic sewage it contains water from toilets, showers and sinks. Some of the water has waste products, household chemicals, food scraps and many more. Industrial sewage is waste water from factories. Water used from companies is Industrial sewage. Companies have choices of putting the water in special holding ponds, making it evaporate or dumping it into rivers. Lastly storm sewage otherwise known as runoff. Storm sewage is made when it rains. The rain takes pollution from the ground which goes into a sewer. Kayleigh

Polluted Water
Did you know that 884 million people don’t have safe drinking water? Also, 1.5 million people die worldwide from polluted water, and most are children. We use water for many things but sometimes we take it for granted. Many girls need to walk kilometers for water that is dirty while the boys go to school. The average person in the developing world only drinks about 12.012 liters of water a day where as the average person in a developed country drinks about 162.253 liters.
• Agriculture uses about 70 percent of water use globally
• Over 90 percent of diarrheal deaths occur in children under 5 years old
• 2.2 million people in developing countries die every year from lack of safe drinking water
• 1.1 million people rely on unsafe water resources to drink
We take so much of our drinking water for granted, next time you go to take a drink of water think about if you were in there position.
